In one of the more exciting days out a full-time bank clerk could hope for, Saqlain Haider once kept wicket for Australia. With Brad Haddin taking a day's rest from the Australians' tour match against Pakistan A in Sharjah in October 2014, Haider was called upon to fill in. He took a sharp catch off Nathan Lyon's offspin, and at the end of the day proudly showed off his bruised hands - the result of holding onto Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc's thunderbolts. By all accounts, Haider impressed behind the stumps, as much with his temperament as his technique.
