46.1 to Amjad Javed, short ball, and he hits it well but too close to Joyce, who moves to his right from deep midwicket and takes a well-judged catch. 238/7 48.4 to Shaiman Anwar, goes a long way outside leg stump and Sorensen bowls a simple length ball on off stump. He has to reach for it to hit that over the covers, ends up scooping it high in the air behind the wicket off the outside half of his bat. The wicketkeeper settles under it, and that's the end of a fantastic World Cup century. 269/8

34.2 to Rohan Mustafa, got him! Cusack bends his back a bit more and gets this to lift from back of a length. Not much room to cut anyway, and he gets a thick edge through to the keeper. 131/6 49.5 to Mohammad Naveed, short ball, into the body as he backs away. Goes for the pull, top-edges it high in the air, and the bowler takes a simple catch, goes for the hands-over-head technique. 276/9
10 | 0 | 27 | 2 | 2.70 | 41 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
11.3 to AR Berenger, oh my. This has been a bit of a struggle for Berenger, and it ends tamely, as he pops up a back of a length ball, leg-stumpish, straight into short midwicket's hands, going too early into a flick. 49/1 13.1 to Krishna Chandran, got him! Again it's the one that goes with the angle. It's angled in towards off stump and he drives at it with an angled bat, too much bottom hand in that, and it pops up off the outside edge and it goes very quickly to Kevin O'Brien at slip, over his right shoulder, and he parried it in the air at the first attempt and caught it safely on the second attempt. 53/2
7 | 0 | 61 | 2 | 8.71 | 16 | 7 | 0 | 4 | 0 | |
18.5 to Amjad Ali, short, sits up, he could have hit that anywhere he wanted, but all he manages to do is pick out Sorensen on the deep square leg boundary. 73/3 20.5 to SP Patil, gone! Back of a length outside off, a bit of extra bounce, and he pushes hard at it with an angled bat and gets a thick edge that goes to slip just above head height. 78/4
7 | 0 | 39 | 1 | 5.57 | 22 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
31.4 to Khurram Khan, big appeal for lbw and it's given! Came outside his crease and looked to work it leg side, and it hurried through to hit his front pad. Khurram has reviewed... he was a long way down the track. Let's seen now, not much turn, seemed to hit him in line with off stump, going on to clip the top of leg stump, which means it's umpire's call. Khurram's a little unlucky there, simply because it was the sort of lbw call that looked a little not-out at first sight, simply because of how far he was down the pitch.. 125/5 |

38.4 to A Balbirnie, gone! It was a length ball on off stump and he moved away from the line to drive through extra cover. May have stopped on him a touch and he ended up spooning a simple catch to the fielder at mid-off. 171/5 47.3 to GC Wilson, and UAE are back in it! that's a short ball angling into his body, and he leans away to guide it past short third man, but he ends up hitting it too close to him, and Javed dives forward and takes a super low catch. 267/8
7 | 0 | 21 | 1 | 3.00 | 29 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
1.4 to PR Stirling, got him! That is superb bowling from Guruge, slanted this across and this time there was no swing. Stirling stood there and flashed at it away from his body, and could only nick it through to the keeper. 4/1
10 | 0 | 60 | 3 | 6.00 | 32 | 6 | 2 | 0 | 0 | |
18.4 to EC Joyce, got him! Joyce's luck runs out finally, goes for a drive away from his body. It was a good ball, angling away, not full enough to drive, and the edge carries through at shoulder height to Patil. 72/2 44.4 to KJ O'Brien, gone! Another slower ball, and he was moving away from the line, looking to hit over extra cover. Doesn't connect half as well as he'd have liked to, and he scoops it straight into the fielder's hands. 243/6 46.6 to JF Mooney, another twist. Mooney looks to lap-sweep a full ball on off stump, ends up hitting it awkwardly over his own shoulder, and Amjad Ali, backtracking from short fine leg, takes a well-judged catch. 259/7

23.3 to WTS Porterfield, bowled him! That hung in the air for a while and he played across it, looking to sweep. Cleared his front leg, and played across a straight ball, which went under his bat and crashed into middle stump. 94/3 25.2 to NJ O'Brien, Tauqir strikes again! Niall has reviewed, but it looked plumb. It slid on again, towards middle stump, I would think. Went for the sweep across the line and that thudded into his front pad. Was there an edge? Nope. Didn't get a huge stride forward either. Hit him in line with middle stump, you can see off stump when it hit. Turned and straightened, in fact, and went past his outside edge. Hitting three-fourths of the way up middle stump, and Niall O'Brien will have to go.. 97/4
