Haryana 264 for 4 (Sharma 95) v Services
Chetan Sharma, the left-handed opening batsman, put Haryana in a comfortable position against Services on the first day of the plate final of the Ranji Trophy at the Devi Lal Stadium, Gurgaon. After winning the toss and choosing to bat Haryana got a great start, putting on 129 for the first wicket before Bagheshwar Bist was dismissed on an even 50. But Sharma went on undeterred, and racked up 95, the topscore on the day. Sunny Singh chipped in with 52 and Haryana went to 264 for 4 at the end of the day's play.
