Profile

The son of former Indian allrounder Roger Binny, Stuart has established himself as a very useful cricketer in the same discipline. He made his Karnataka debut in the 2003-04 season but couldn't maintain a regular place in the first-class line-up. He considers himself a limited-overs specialist and when the Indian Cricket League came calling in 2007, he signed up and made a name for himself as one of the tournament's premier allrounders. Stuart relies more on a stump-to-stump-line and taking the pace off the ball, making him difficult to get away. His batting too was a revelation for the Hyderabad Heroes and India XI. After two fulfilling seasons, he accepted the BCCI's amnesty offer and quit the ICL. His aim is to make it back to the Karnataka set-up and prove himself in all formats.
