Indian Premier League - 11th match

Delhi Daredevils v Chennai Super Kings

Delhi Daredevils won by 8 wickets (with 40 balls remaining)

We're about to start...

There seems to be some delay because of a technical issue due to the lights behind the sight screen.

Irfan Pathan will open the bowling for Delhi as he's stretching out and goes through a formal bowling run up....

Murali Vijay and Faf du Plessis are walking out to the centre.

Delhi players are in a huddle....

The Morkel brothers are playing against each other and that should be an interesting contest.

Return of KP and Mahela should really boost the Delhi team.

Dhoni: "We'd have fielded too. We'll look to play well initially as it's a damp wicket. We're going with the same side."

Sehwag: "This is a good wicket and we'll try and restrict them. Pietersen, Van der Merwe and Jayawardene are the foreign players for us."

Sehwag wins the toss and elects to field first.

Toss time...

Match scheduled to start at half past 8.

We've the news on Toss. It'll happen at 8.00pm.

Tim: "Any update on the weather? Hope this one will happen?"

Toss will happen later but we're not sure of the exact time.

7.35 There is a delay in the toss at the Feroz Shah Kotla. Delhi Daredevils have tweeted "The covers have come off and the stands are filling up."

Tweet from Stephen Fleming a short while back: "Unbelievable storm in delhi tonight. Lightning thunder and of course rain. Heading to ground now to check out the damage!"

Delhi Daredevils take on the Super Kings at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Delhi Daredevils have played the Super Kings twice at the Feroz Shah Kotla, and both times the Daredevils have posted imposing totals (187 and 185), only for the Super Kings to overhaul them.

Dhoni should have come up the order as he's the one who could have consolidated and have a go at the end. Ashwin, Jakati, Jadeja and Raina will be tough to get away as the ball is not coming onto the bat as it should.

Join us in a bit for the chase....
