Nick Kemp was a right-arm seamer who spent five seasons with Kent before finishing his career with Middlesex. In 18 first-class matches he only took 16 wickets, and six of those came against Surrey at The Oval in August 1980 when he took 6 for 119 in the home side's first innings. He played for Kent 2nd XI as early as 1974 and in 1976 toured the Caribbean with the England Youth side.
