Cecil Headlam was in the Rugby School XI between 1889 and 1891 as wicketkeeper, and played for Oxford Seniors in 1895 besides one match for the University - v MCC and Ground at Lord's - in 1895, when R. P. Lewis the regular wicketkeeper rested.
