Eric Lee Kow was one of the best-known umpires in the West Indies. He officiated in the Second Test between the West Indies and England at Port of Spain in 1960 when many members of a crowd of 30,000 - a record for any sporting event in the Islands - objected to a run-out decision by him and invaded the playing-area.
