Frank Thomas was a medium-pace allrounder who played one first-class match for Barbados, but also captained Windward Islands against the MCC in 1954, led St Vincent and was vice-captain of the Windward and Leeward Islands. His bigger influence came off the field where he was behind efforts to establish the Arnos Vale Sports Complex - St Vincent's only international cricket venue - as well as acting as West Indies assistant team manager on their 1976 tour of England and a national selector for six years from 1968. The Frank Thomas Pavilion at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex was named in his honour in 1994 and he was awarded the OBE for services to St Vincent & The Grenadines.
