Wayne Parnell's highest List A score of 129 kept the Warriors on top of the points table after they posted a huge score of 342 in 50 overs. Lions were kept in the hunt with a fifty from Rassie van der Dussen but rain interrupted their chase after 25.2 overs at which point they needed to be 173 to be the winner, but were 54 runs behind.

After the Warriors chose to bat, JJ Smuts and Parnell put on 155 in 25 overs before Smuts fell for 73. Parnell then put on a partnership of 103 with Colin Ingram (52) but both were dismissed in the 41st over by Lonwabo Tsotsobe. Parnell's second List A hundred included 11 fours and three sixes as he was pushed up the order after a duck at No. 7 against the Knights in the previous match. Ryan Bailey smashed 56 from 32 from there leading them to a mammoth score.

Lions lost both their openers, Stephen Cook and Quinton de Kock, within 11 overs to Rusty Theron and Parnell. Van der Dussen and Temba Bavuma revived the innings with a 67-run stand but Bavuma's wicket fell soon, to be followed by rain.

Cape Cobras 255 for 6 (Vallie 72, Puttick 52) beat Knights 227 (McLaren 88, Simetu 3-42, Langeveldt 2-32) by 28 runs
Scorecard

Cape Cobras's bowlers, led by left-arm spinner Siya Simetu, dismissed the Knights for 227 after posting a respectable score of 255 for their second consecutive win in the Momentum One Day Cup. After they chose to bat, fifties from opener Andrew Puttick and No. 5 Yaseen Vallie helped the Cobras past 250. While Puttick scored at more than run-a-ball, Vallie played a stabilising innings after they lost three wickets for 24 runs after the 15th over.

When Justin Kemp was dismissed for 16 in the 43rd over, Cobras were 190 for 5 and Vallie and Shaheen Khan put on 63 in 43 balls as Khan scored an unbeaten 33 from 23. Spinners Nicky Boje and Werner Coetsee bowled economical spells of 2 for 35 and 2 for 32 respectively.

The Knights started strong with an opening stand of 71 from Reeza Hendricks and Gihahn Cloete. Once Hendricks fell for 35, Simetu dismissed Cloete and Rudi Second and soon got rid of Pite van Biljon which left Knights at 133 for 5. Ryan McLaren kept them in the hunt with a 73-ball 88 and stayed till the last over but ran out of partners.
