Tom Heggelman started playing cricket at an early age and was part of all Netherlands international youth teams before making his debut for the squad in August 2010 in Dublin. In recent years he has been an opening bat for his club having started out in the middle order. He scored 128 for Netherlands A against Denmark in July 2010.
