4.1 to Guptill, Three down, Guptill's turn to head back, angling in towards middle, Guptill moved across and drove that well but it was uppish and landed straight in the palms of Hashim Amla at midwicket, New Zealand can ill-afford a start like this 7/3
28.5 to Taylor, Given out lbw but Taylor has called for a review, lots of reverse-swing on that one, landed in the blockhole on leg, in fact it struck him on the full as he went across, the impact was around leg stump, would it have gone down? DRS says the impact was in line and that it would have hit a good part of leg. Taylor has to go. 64/4

1.6 to Nicol, Nicol's poor Test continues, slightly unfortunate there, short of a good length, he tried to play that off the back foot, struck him high on the pad, made some contact with his arm as he tried to whip it across and rolled back towards the stumps, he tried to kick the ball away but the damage had been done, the off-stump bail had been dislodged by the time he decided to act 1/1
3.6 to McCullum, New Zealand in some trouble now! McCullum's trapped in front, he doesn't review it, he knows he's out, Philander bowled that on a length on middle, appeared to nip back in, McCullum got across to work it square but missed it and was struck in line, would have gone on to hit middle and leg. Doctrove had no doubt 7/2
61.6 to van Wyk, Philander strikes! Got that one to nip back in and van Wyk misjudged the line, probably didn't expect it to come in either given Philander had been moving it the other way this over, leaves that short of a good length ball alone and the off stump is pegged back. The pressure mounts on Williamson 141/6
63.3 to Williamson, Philander, you beauty! Williamson's vigil ends and South Africa are dominating this game now, in the channel outside off, just a hint of away movement, it was just about wide enough to induce a poke from Williamson and it took the outside edge, Boucher completed an easy catch 142/7
65.6 to Gillespie, Another five-for for Philander, pitched up outside off, Gillespie made room to thrash that through the off side, got a thick edge and Boucher did well stretching to his right 160/9
67.5 to Martin, bowled'im! Philander finishes with six, got the earlier ones to move away, this one comes back in, Martin has no answer, and it clips the pads on the way to dismantling off stump 168/10

64.5 to Bracewell, cleaned him up, no answer to Morkel's reverse-swing! Swung in big time, landed just outside off and came in further, Bracewell left that alone and out went the off stump, cartwheeling towards Boucher 142/8

47.3 to Vettori, Big blow, Vettori, who had batted determinedly uptil now, has to walk back! Surprised by the short one from Kallis, and what made it even more difficult for Vettori was that it darted further in towards him, took his eyes off as he tried to avoid it but the glove came in the way, it flicked the glove on the way to the keeper 99/5
