Bryony Smith

Bryony Smith won her first England caps in 2018 during a T20I tri-series in India, but did not bowl an over and found opportunities with the bat sporadic. She made an ODI bow against West Indies the following summer and bowled tightly, but generally found herself in the purgatory between domestic and international cricket.

Part of the Surrey Stars side that won the KSL in 2018, Smith is an offspinning allrounder who was awarded an England rookie contract in 2019 and regularly trained with the main squad while on the fringes of the side.
