It was a short-of-length delivery moving away from Smith who hangs his bat out to dry and gets the thick edge through to the lunging Haddin.. 28/1 40.4 to AB de Villiers, It was a length delivery on the middle and leg and it stops on AB who checks his across-the-line waft but gets a leading edge - a simple dolly- to mid-off. Fine innings from AB, who paced this one really well.. 198/4 44.2 to JP Duminy, moves outside leg stump and flays a short-of-length delivery but crashes it straight to cover! Mitchell roars. It was flighted around the off stump line and Ponting skipped down the track and was beaten in the flight. Ponting jabbed it towards the non-striker and the bowler moved to his right and in the way of the nonstriker, nearly getting tangled, to hold a good catch. 66/2 | ||||||||||

22.1 to MJ Clarke, Clarke's misery ends. He skipped down the track, went for a heave across the line but the ball dipped on him rapidly and he missed it completely. Through this innings, he has not got his timing right and is gone now.. 80/3 22.6 to MEK Hussey, Rudi misses the big inside edge and Mike Hussey storms off towards the pavilion. It turned in quickly from outside off stump, Hussey pressed back and stabbed it off the inner edge to his pad. Rudi fails to see it and gives him the slow death. Clearly very unlucky.. 83/4 44.6 to CJ Ferguson, chips down the track, tries for the big lofted shot over the off-side field but ends up slicing it high in the air and AB get around from covers to take it.
