44.1 to Gibbs, loss of concentration! Perhaps inspired by de Villiers' upper-cut the previous over, Gibbs attempts the same, though the ball wasn't short enough for that. He ends up getting a thick outside edge high to Fleming at first slip 141/5

74.3 to Steyn, And Martin wraps it up! This time he adjusts a length to a fuller one, Steyn goes for another pull, but he succeeds in getting a thick outside edge. McCullum has to stretch his arms high up to take that 226/10

29.1 to Kallis, what a comeback by New Zealand! straight after lunch that too... O'Brien bowls it full outside off and gets it to swing away late after pitching. Kallis goes for the cover drive, doesnt meet the ball off the face of the bat and ends up getting a thick underedge through to McCullum who dives low to his left 73/3

67.2 to Harris, talk about rebounding! Simolar delivery, Harris goes on the backfoot and goes for another fearless cut. The ball jags back in after pitching (could have been the arm ball), the ball deflects off the pad in front of the wicket. It appeared that it was an appeal for a catch as MCCullum collected the ball off a thick deflection 195/8

73.3 to Boucher, Boucher goes for a heave-ho across the line, gets on his knee and the ball gets a thick top-edge down Papps' throat at point 219/9

11.3 to Cumming, trapped in front! Steyn makes him play for a change by pitching it up. He gets the ball to bend in and straighten after pitching. Cumming gets a stride forward and the ball strikes him on the front pad in front of middle and off 40/2

17.4 to Bond, he gets the yorker in! Steyn fires that one at a scorching pace on the base of off stump, the swing was just right and Bond wasn't able to get his bat down quickly on that. The ball pushes the off stump back 54/3

33.3 to Oram, Another bowling change clicks. Short of a length on middle, the ball kicks on Oram with the line and comes in to his midriff. Oram clearly wasn't quick enough to get the bat behind the line of the ball and a thick outside edge flies off his bat. Kallis does well to dive to his right and take the catch at second slip 84/6

41.1 to McCullum, Steyn gets four.... The ball lands just short of a good length slightly outside the line of off stump, doesn't bend in to the right-hander, McCullum shapes to flick across the line but plays too early as the ball strikes him in front of middle. The umpires raises his finger and McCullum appears a little unhappy. 118/9

41.3 to Martin, that's five for the road for Steyn.... fires that on a good length on middle, Martin shapes to tuck it to the on side, gets a leading edge and Harris at midwicket takes another dolly running a few paces to his left 118/10

5.6 to Papps, and Ntini gets his man! Ntini bowls that on the channel outside off, Papps, as if expecting the ball to bend back in more pokes at it without offering the full face. The ball gets a thick outside edge through to de Villiers at second slip, who has to dive a little low 16/1

22.2 to Fleming, Ntini gets the prized wicket! keeps the ball on a good length on middle, gets it to angle across the left hander, Fleming gets across, opens the face of the bat and tries to glide it past the slip cordon but ends up getting a thick outside edge to de Villiers at second slip 64/4

38.5 to Vettori, catches don't come as easy as that.... good length on middle and off, Vettori shapes to glance the ball to the on side. However, he gets a leading edge and it just lobs up to Paul Harris at mid-on 102/8

32.1 to Styris, the bowling change has worked. Lands the ball on a good length outside off, the ball bounces a lot more than Styris would have expected. He fishes at the ball and gets an outside edge to Smith at first slip, who takes it at waist height 83/5

34.5 to Taylor, short of a length outside off, the ball moves away after pitching and was in the slot to cut. Taylor aims to slash that over gully but doesnt get the desired elevation as he ends up cutting straight to Gibbs 88/7

2.4 to Gibbs, first blood to Bond.... after rehearsing his inswing he manages to land one on the right length just outside off. Getting the ball to cut back in, he forces Gibbs to poke his bat at it and the ball races to Papps at third slip off the outside edge. Gibbs hardly moved his feet there 8/1

7.3 to Smith, the yorker... Martin lands that on the base of off stump, no hint of movement in the air as the ball goes through with the line, Smith may have expected the ball to move in to him. The ball just shaves the off stump 20/2

97.4 to Kallis, and the elusive double hundred remains as elusive as ever.... lands it on a good length outside off, forces Kallis to get forward and poke at it, he gets a thin edge through to McCullum. The bowler and keeper go up immediately. It was not an unplayable delivery by any means...Kallis may have lost his concentration there 350/3

4.6 to Cumming, that's the first strike....lands the ball on a good length outside off, gets the ball to dart away from the right-hander, Cumming was caught at the crease fishing outside off without moving his feet, he gets a thick outside edge to Smith at first slip 12/1

18.3 to Styris, that didn't take too long....Steyn digs it in short of a length on middle, gets the ball to move inwards off the seam, Styris tries to glide it down to fine leg but the ball just shaves his glove and Boucher takes it to his left 60/4

26.1 to McCullum, loose shot and McCullum can't believe what he just did.... short outside off, comes in at a gentle pace, McCullum tries to slice that above the slips but succeeds in playing it off the meat of the bat. Gibbs at gully takes one of his easier catches. It was not really a wicket-taking delivery...just a loss of concentration on the part of the batsman 90/5

48.5 to O'Brien, Fantastic reflex catch... Steyn dishes out a slower ball on the pads, O'Brien flicks uppishly, Amla at forward short-leg gets a hand to it, the ball rebounds off his palms and lobs up. He turns around quickly, takes it on the second attempt and the fielders celebrate. There's a bit of doubt as O'Brien stands his ground as he felt the ball hit Amla's visor before catching it. The third umpire finally rules him out. 170/8

50.6 to Martin, It's all over at the Wanderers..... and Steyn has ten for the match.... Steyn keeps it in line with the stumps, Martin stays rooted to the crease, doesn't move his feet, the ball goes straight on and crashes into middle and off stump 172/10

9.3 to Fleming, Smith takes his second catch of the evening..... Nel shifts to a fuller length in the channel outside the off stump, Fleming gets a half prod forward and tries to cover the line of the ball. He isnt quick enough in getting his bat down and the ball shaves the outside edge and goes low to Smith at first slip 34/2

9.5 to Taylor, that's two for the over....After softening him up with a bouncer the previous ball, he bangs one in short of a length outside off, the ball kicks on Taylor and he sticks his bat out. He gets a thick outside edge to Kallis at second slip 39/3

33.1 to Papps, good captaincy....that was more like a gentle loosener outside the off stump, Papps gets a half prod forwardm doesn't cover the line of the ball and gets a thin outside edge to de Villiers at second slip 109/6

45.4 to Oram, Oram loses his patience....Harris gives the ball a lot of air, Oram is tempted into the loft, he takes a few paces forward, meets the pitch of the ball but suddenly checks his stroke. He goes through with the loft over midwicket one-handed and Nel takes it easily at deep midwicket 154/7
