Chaitanya: "Boy! the way the series is going... It will definitely increase a few heartbeats if not stop any! i have almost lost half my nails."

Dhoni: "The kind of start we got, we were quite happy to get 300 on board. We needed some early wickets with the new ball but that didn't happen and the spinners couldn't put pressure. We need to take wickets with the new ball. There were few misfields also; the way we field I think we should score 20 more runs!"

Sangakkara: "Another close one. Again we are mare making mistakes on the field. Injuries as well. If I had held on to my catch and stumping ( against Dhoni) I dont think they would have got 260. All credit to Dilshan who is playing out of his skin. Tharanga too played well. Also mention to Randiv and Lakmal. You saw how Angelo batted; great stuff but unfortunately he seems to have done his quadriceps. We need to get more replacements. The guys on the field today tried very hard. It was a great effort."

Man of the Match is Dilshan: "It was a very good year. I certainly can't forget this year. If you are chasing 300-400 you have to take some chances. What's changed in my career is when I make starts, I convert them to big hundreds. I have a different thinking now. Both sides are playing very good cricket. The next three are going to be very interesting games. It's better to be batting in the middle instead of sitting in the dressing room and feeling the pressure!"

That's it from us. Thanks for logging on.

Jadeja to Angelo Mathews, 1 run

Angeloooo! The series is level. Mathews hits the winning runs; he dragged this one past square-leg. He has been close before but has seen the chase derail but not this time. Well played Angelo. No great visible reaction from him also; he just pumps his fist and quietly walks away.

What a fumble from Zaheer and Sri Lanka get a boundary. It was driven straight to Zaheer at mid-on who went forward, trying to stop a single, but makes a complete mess of it. Smiles in the Sri Lankan camp. surely now, SL will wrap this up?

Hassan: "I regard Mathews very highly. The lad is only 22 and already had to bat in very difficult situations with not much support. I think SRL needs to rethink the number 6 and 7 positions with may be Jayawardene batting down in these type of situations."

This is the last over of the Batting Powerplay
