So, that is that for this game and this series. Hope you liked our coverage. See you soon.

Salman Agha collects the trophy and joins his team-mates as everyone gets ready for the team photo. Mike Hesson also joins them.

Salman Agha: "It was a great performance from us. This has been very good two months for us, against South Africa and Sri Lanka. We have been doing well in both ODIs and T20Is. Before going to the World Cup, you want your 15 ready. If anything happens to your main players, you want to have the back-up ready. So we are giving chances to everyone. I think we are pretty much ready for the World Cup. We still have six games before the World Cup to try out things if we want but think we are pretty much clear on our 15 players."

Dasun Shanaka: "We expected the wicket to play better than this but they also bowled well in the middle overs. We couldn't have taken some chances: right-handers getting out to the left-arm spinner and left-hander to offspinner. We need to fine-tune our game ahead of the next series. Mishara, Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Chameera, Maheesh, Hasaranga were the positives. And we showed good intent int he field."

Third player-of-the-match award for Mohammad Nawaz in T20I finals, the most by any player, says Sampath. Also his fourth PoTM award in a T20 final, only behind Shoaib Malik's five.

Mohammad Nawaz: "To deliver when the team requires you is very important. I plan with the coaches and try to keep it simple because as a fingerspinner, you don't have many options. So I try to read the game and bowl accordingly. [On his batting] I try to see what the situations demands: to build a partnership or attack. So I try to play accordingly."

Mohammad Nawaz is the Player of the Match, as well as the Player of the Series.

Time for the presentation ceremony.

Ahsan: "@Usman: In the list of Cricinfo's Most Valuable Players of the Match, Saim is at number 1 and Babar at 6. So here is your answer."

Usman: "Saim 4-0-17-1 and 36 (33). Babar 3 catches and 37* (34). Both involved in dismissing top-scorer Mishara. Who will he MOTM?"

The first tournament/multi-team series final win for Pakistan in Pakistan, Sampath tells me. They previous played three ODI tri-series finals and an Asian Test Championship final at home, and lost all of them.

9.18pm A bit of a hiccup towards the end but Babar takes Pakistan home. He finishes on 37 not out off 34 balls, the sort of innings the situation demanded. The win, of course, was set by Pakistan's spinners: Abrar, Nawaz and Ayub. At one point, Sri Lanka looked good for 170, perhaps even more. But the trio put the brakes on the scoring rate with regular strikes. Sri Lanka needed a miracle after being bowled out for 114. There wasn't one.
