Fraction full and slanted across off, mistimed it down the ground, lands short of long-off and Mitchell holds his nerve, two run-outs and bowled the all-important final over, used the slower ones to great effect. What a game it turned out to be! Another cracking game. MLC season 3 is well and truly underway, two enthralling contests

TSK won an absolute thriller and the much-anticipated clash lived up to expectations, going down to the final delivery and keeping fans on the edge of their seats. TSK fought hard with a concerted effort to post 185 and then hung in the game till the very end. Adam Milne picked up three wickets with a staggering economy of 5.50 while Noor Ahmad stymied the run flow in the middle overs. Daryl Mitchell was expensive but made up for it with two crucial run-outs of Kieron Pollard and Monank Patel that completely changed the complexion of the game and allowed TSK to tighten the screws. It became a little too tough for the tailenders, and another run-out; this time of Trent Boult didn't help MI New York's cause either. TSK's bowlers were slightly better on the day and though it was a fiercely contested match, it could have gone either way in the end
Calvin Savage, MVP: You have to keep going especially in small fields. Think we were a little short but the way we came and bowled in powerplay was great. It was an unbelievable team effort, such a good fun, loved every moment
Sowmya : "Daryl Mitchell may gone for 53 runs off his quota but he was the one who executed under pressure and won this match for TSK ! "
Shorter in length, angled across off, pace off strangles him, once again early through the shot, runs to the other end, magnificent bowling
Pace-off superb short of a length delivery floating outside off, tries to whack it away to cover and only connects with fresh air
Mohammad Abbas : "Feel the misfield at short 3rd would be the difference between winning and losing "
near yorker on middle and leg, worked to deep midwicket
Goes full and angles into the stumps, trying to close out the boundary options, in the air for a while and drops short of long-off
Around the wicket, low full-toss on the pads, off the pads to point
On a length and angling in at middle and leg, appeal for an lbw, looks a little leg-sidish but Faf du Plessis wants to take his chances, sent upstairs for further examination. No bat involved, pitching outside off, impact is umpire's call and it's missing leg-stump
goes full and outside off, threads the gap with perfection, crunches him for four through cover, don't bother running for that!!!
length or thereabouts, doesn't give him room to free arms, prodded to wide mid-off
Fraction short and angling in at off, steered away to deep third. Comedy of errors, pressure does funny things, third run out, Boult lost his bat and Conway removes the bails, Mohsin pinged a sharp throw, there was miscommunication but if he hadn't lost control of the bat, he would be still out there
Bit short on off, slashed away to deep cover-point
Over the wicket, back of a length on off, exposes his stumps and uncoils a gorgeous cracking full-blooded cut in the gap at point for a thunderous boundary
slow through the air, legbreak fuller on middle and off, leans forward and pushes it to long-on
yeah that looks plumb and given, tossed up full and gets a little bit of turn in, slams the bat down and is unable to connect, pitching in line, impact in line and hitting middle stump, stone dead
fuller and outside off, forced to long-off for a run
tossed just outside off, can't do much about it
Tossed up on a length outside off, width offered, held his shape, waited a touch and then powered it away to cover boundary
Floated full and outside off, tries to jam it away and gets beaten
Fraction short and zings in a touch, doesn't get behind the line and gets hit on the pads, once again he runs like a cheetah and runs Monank out, how often do we see this, two run-out, both set batters gone in the same over, Mitchell screams in exultation, what an over it turned out to be, Mitchell got hammered but produced magic with his fielding
Fuller and targets the toes, flicks it in front of square leg, Mitchell sprints and gets rid of the ball quickly, Pollard was jogging to the other end, was all too late when he tried to accelerate, Mitchell with a direct hit at non-striker's end bring an end to Pollard's innings, shame to lose wicket in this manner, he will be gutted with himself, another twist in this fascinating tale
