1:51pm That will be all for this game. But there are two more games slated to kick off in less than an hour from now. The women's match can be followed here, and the men's match can be followed here. Do join us for both of those, but until then, from Sudeep and myself (Shashwat), this is goodbye!

Naresh: "The game again shows how low scorers can be thrillers"

Deandra Dottin, Player of the Match: (On the game) Very exciting, really nice to get across the line (for us). The main thing for me was to go out there and see what it was doing, and batting as long as possible to get us a decent total on the board. (Feedback to the bowlers) To be honest, to keep the stumps in play. The slower balls, to be bowled fuller. From one end, it was getting a little bounce, so was just about keeping it simple. There were some awesome catches, and a matter of keeping your eyes on the ball and putting in a big effort. We are not too overconfident - we will take it one game at a time.

1:45pm Phew. What a game of cricket that turned out to be. For a long while, it felt the Superchargers had things under control, especially when Litchfield and ADR were at the crease. But both of them fell relatively close to each other, and that exposed the middle order. Sutherland sparkled briefly, but her inability to take her team past the finish line, plus the fact that none of the others in the lower order got going, meant the Superchargers ultimately felt short.

The Originals, on the other hand, will be thrilled to bits with the result. They seemed to be out of the game, until a string of awesome catches hauled them back. Their bowlers then held their nerve at the death, with almost all of them playing their parts to perfection. The Originals will take immense confidence from this game because, well, it was one they felt primed to lose, until a stunning turnaround towards the end.

Filer to Carey, 1 run

smashed down the ground, but that will only be a single! Manchester Originals pull a win out of the fire, and they go level on points with their rivals from the north! Low full toss just outside off. Carey cannot get under it and for the moment, that is all that matters. Clinks it back past the bowler, and Bryce, running around from mid off, reins it in. The Superchargers remain winless at this venue, and they will feel they have let one get away today!

7 off 1. Carey on strike. A six, and the points will be shared. A legal ball and any other outcome, and the Originals will go level on points with the Superchargers. Around the wicket

Filer to Higham, 1 run

excellent stop by Mooney, and that is a pivotal stop! Back of a length outside off. Higham, rather ambitiously, looks for the reverse-lap and gloves it. Mooney sticks out her right mitt and gets a good chunk on it, preventing what may have been a boundary!

8 off 2. Surely the Originals will close this out now? Higham on strike

Ryan : "Catches win matches they say?! And boy they have needed all of them."

Filer to Cross, OUT

in the air, and taken by Bryce! Filer takes out Cross, and this is another body blow for the Superchargers! Hard length, tailing back into middle and leg. Skips off the surface too and that rushes Cross on her attempted lofted stroke. Cloths it badly and Bryce, running back from mid on, gobbles up the chance!

Kate Cross c Bryce b Filer 3 (3b 0x4 0x6 4m) SR: 100

8 off 3. Cross on strike. Cross, remember, has played for the Originals in the past. As if the drama wasn't enough...

Filer to Carey, 1 leg bye

another sizzling yorker - this time on the pads. Carey cannot lay bat on ball, and the ball trickles off the pads into the on side for just a leg bye

96
Filer to Carey, no run

nails the wide yorker first up, and bags a dot! Carey a little too late to react and in the end, she cannot do anything with it

9 off 5. Carey on strike. Filer to bowl. Around the wicket. Who are you backing?

Ecclestone to Cross, 2 runs

oh, hello! Slanted into the blockhole on the stumps. Cross moves across very early and then laps it delightfully past short fine leg. Gaur gives chase and pulls it back, just in the nick of time. Or does she? The third umpire is having a look at this, and it seems Gaur has done just enough!

12 off 7, and this is probably the Originals' game to lose now. Cross on strike

Ecclestone to Heath, OUT

is that a plane, is that a bird? No, it is Deandra Dottin flying through the air! Slanted in full on middle and leg. Heath looks for the reverse-swat over the off-side ring but cloths it a little. That brings Dottin into play at extra cover and she tracks the ball all the way before flying to her left. Almost horizontal to the ground when she takes it with both hands, and that moment of fielding genius could win the Originals this contest!

massive lbw shout, and we go upstairs! Zipped into the blockhole and this does seem to pitch just a smidgen outside leg. Carey gets pinned on the back leg, having failed to dig out the full ball, and Ecclestone is not as interested as her skipper, who instigated the review. No bat involved but Ball Tracking confirms the ball pitched just outside leg. Carey survives!

Ecclestone to Heath, 1 leg bye

darted in very full outside off and Heath, pre-meditating the reverse, gets into an awful tangle. Misses it and the ball trickles off the pads into the off side

14 off 10. This is getting very tense. Ecclestone to bowl. Around the wicket

floated up generously on a full length just outside off. The googly rips in, beats the bat and clips the back leg to dribble away past the keeper. Going well down, though - that was how much it spun

Amelia Kerr to Heath, no run

googly on a back of a length on off. Spins back in, cramps Heath for room and she scuffs it towards the bowler

83
Amelia Kerr to Heath, no run

shortish on middle and leg, and this kicks up off a length. Heath was shaping to pull but has to abandon her ideas mid-way. She might have gotten hit near the neck there

another googly but this slides down leg. Heath does not get bat on it and Mooney does just enough to prevent further runs

82
Amelia Kerr to Heath, no run

back of a length on middle and leg. Seems like another googly and the ball turns past Heath's bat to rap her on the back thigh
