over the wicket, pitched up and straighter line, swings big but hasn't got all of it, Abbas takes a wonderful running catch at long-on, plucking it out of thin air, Shoriful almost got all of it
Bangladesh vs Pakistan, 3rd T20I at Dhaka, BAN vs PAK, Jul 24 2025 - Match Result
It's absolutely pelting down and it's a rushed presentation ceremony. Just brief comments from the captains and a quick celebration as the Bangladesh players lift the trophy. Thanks for your company! From me, Rvel Zahid, and Thilak Rama, it's goodbye and goodnight!
Salman Ali Agha, Pakistan Captain: Very proud, this is what we talked about as a team, no matter what situation we are in, we want to show character. The way Sahibzada batted was outstanding, heartning and pleasing to see, Saim as well. f´First six overs they put us ahead. Hasan batted really well and Nawaz played an outstanding cameo. Salman was outstanding, took wickets upfront and the way Dani (Daniyal) bowled, very happy with them...
Sahibzada Farhan, Player of the Match: I am happy because the team won. I played according to the plan and targeted the off spin as decided. I told Saim not to worry and leave power hitting to me.
Jaker Ali, Player of the Series: It was a good series for us, boys did really well and I just tried to play my game.
Litton Das, Bangladesh Captain: The boys played good cricket, wicket looked pretty good to bat. We wanted to give youngsters chances and keeps a positive mindset.
Pakistan got their house in order today and put up a respectable score--enough to keep Bangladesh at bay. The home side made five changes and left out some key mainstays who had played significant roles earlier but it gave them a chance to test their bench strength. Pakistan bowled intelligently and Salman Mirza got the ball to swing, troubling the batters with his clever variations. The chase was frantic; at one stage, Bangladesh were in deep trouble, tottering at around 36-5 and desperately in need of a big partnership. They paid the price for that early collapse and never really looked in with a shot at chasing down a stiff total on a tricky pitch. Earlier, Sahibzada Farhan made an immediate impact after being brought into the side. His confident approach inspired the whole team as he anchored the innings with a superb 63-run knock. Saim Ayub got a decent start while Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Nawaz chipped in with crucial runs at the death to push the total past 170
around again and full on middle and off, pushed down to long on
quick and full towards the toes, hoisted to deep square
around the wicket, slower on a length and turns in viciously from off, tries to force a pull and can't connect clean enough
back of a length and curls it back from outside off, opens the face and slices it down to short third in the ring
pace off length ball well outside off, reaches out and plays an inside out drive over cover as the ball dies down near the rope
flogs him for a six! back of a length on middle, had the license to go berserk and he did, got on top of it, used the depth of the crease and spanked with insolence over long on, 20 run already
short of a length and nibbling across middle, steps leg side and plinks it out in front of point, oversteps again much to the delight of fans
pulls his length back, keeps it on middle, swivel pull towards midwicket
enjoys the dibbly dobbly pace, fuller again on middle and the result is same, hangs deep and clubs it downtown into the sightscreen over long on, crowd loved it!
over the wicket, juicy half-volley angled across off and he says thank you very much, crunches it up and over extra cover for a four and brings a lot of joy to the fans who are cheering at the top of their lungs, 86 meters six, picked the off cutter to perfection
blocked to cover as simple as that
tossed up on a length and turns in from outside off, Talat takes a sprawling sprinting catch square leg, ball was dying on him and falling like a shooting start but he timed his dive to perfection off the miscued slog sweep. Flummoxed by the guile flight and spin off a length from outside off, he leant forward to smack it away but couldn't time it well enough
back of a length and spins back from outside off, carved away to deep cover point
steps away from leg stump, he follows him as he drives it to silly mid off
quicker on a length and leg-sidish, helped to fine leg
tossed up and turning in at middle, lunges at it to whip it to short midwicket
Fuad : "This is surely not the best eleven for Bangladesh. But I am happy to see that they test their bench strength while considering the upcoming Asia cup and WT20."
around the wicket, good length and angled down leg, starts off with a wide
back of a length and slanted in at off, blocked to the on side with soft hands
