Warriors drew level with Cape Cobras on top of the league with a 36-run win in a rain-affected match against Titans in Port Elizabeth. Warriors made a poor start to their innings after being asked to bat, losing their first three wickets for 18 runs. Justin Kreusch and Craig Thyssen, however, steadied the innings, adding 160 for the fourth wicket. Kreusch was dismissed for 79, with Warriors on 178 in 39.1 overs, and Thyseen went for the same score four overs later. Titans' new-ball bowlers Rowan Richards and Marchant de Lange took three wickets each as Warriors were dismissed for 237 in 49 overs.
Titans' openers added 32 before things began to go wrong in the ninth over. They lost three wickets for eight runs and then slumped to 86 for 5 in the 24th over, when rain interrupted the chase for the first time. No overs were lost then, but when rain forced a second interruption after 40 overs, Titans were 176 for 8. Only two more balls were possible before a third rain delay and then the revised target was 223 in 42 overs. Titans were dismissed for 186. Rusty Theron took 3 for 31, while Makhaya Ntini and Wayne Parnell took two wickets each for Warrions. Roelof van der Merwe's 36 at No. 8 was Titans' best score.
The match between Cape Cobras and Lions in Paarl was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain.
