That is it then, from me, Suneer Chowdhary. It has been a pleasure bringing you these two games, hope you had a good time too!

Presentation

Virender Sehwag: Never, I have never seen Sourav run the way he did. I needed to bat till the end, at least till the 16th over. We needed someone to bat on till the end, irrespective of how many batsmen we had. The wicket was good to bat on, I liked batting on this pitch.

Sourav Ganguly: Sehwag was hitting them hard, so it is a relief when he gets out. The last five overs of batting from Smith were good, but only when Sehwag got out we thought we came back into the game. Getting KP out was a big relief obviously, which was the reason behind that run!

Ganguly is also the man of the match.

That is a brilliant all-round performance from Pune, batted well through Jesse Ryder and Sourav Ganguly, with Steven Smith spanking a vital 13-ball 34 to propel the side forward. Then, barring a brief period when KP and Sehwag looked to dominate, the Warriors bowled well on a flat pitch, with Ganguly and Alfonso Thomas leading the way for them! Job well done and as I said earlier, four teams on eight points apiece.

Thomas to Nagar, FOUR runs

shorter, slower this time and he waited for the ball to present itself to the bat, slashed over Kartik at point and that has gone to the point fence.

quicker, shorter and the batsman fails to get anywhere close to the ball.

17.3

Thomas to Nagar, FOUR runs

17.2
W
Thomas to Taylor, OUT

short ball and Taylor has pulled it straight to the long-on fielder, Smith. Slower ball too and that meant that Taylor needed to make all the power on the ball. End of the Kiwi.
