Arvind: "Problem with D Smith is that he takes too long to get into 5th gear. If he does not lose his wicket, then he compensates for it. But imagine a scenario where he gets out before getting into the 5th gear. That would be a disaster against a good team. This happened today but thanks to D Karthik and McLaren, Mumbai are going to win it easily!"

Vignesh: "Probably the reason everyone's behind Dwayne Smith is cause he's keeping Punter and Maxwell out of the side. Think they should look to try and give Punter another go. He's a big game player and come the pressure in the knock outs you'd want someone of his caliber in the crease."

John Britto : "Why on earth is everyone behind Dwayne smith? He's averaging 40 this season at a strike rate of over 130. He's played two match-winning knocks to get MI's campaign back on track. He's beena bit slow in the past 2 matches coz tendulkar fell early and someone had to anchor! Today tendulkar was firing and hence he decided to hold one end up! Going by what he has done so far for MI since their last league match last year, he's earned his place in the team!"
