That's all from us. See you tomorrow, good night.

Rummy: "Lot of credit to Dhoni for his super innings and his captaincy by shuffling his bowler's with the heavy dew in play. "

MS Dhoni:We wanted to get a partnership going, it was needed at the time, we knew there'd be dew. Bhaji missed the match because there were quite a few right handers. Just hoping the batsmen can keep performing and bowlers can improve as the tournament progresses, which tends to happen in the IPL. It was very difficult for the finger spinners with the dew, but we were able to rotate, the legspinner bowled really well, as a wrist spinner with the dew, Tahir did really well.

Harsh: "CSK and their habit of making every match a nail biter is going to give me a heart attack one day. Not easy being a CSKian"

Ajinkya Rahane: Disappointed, we started off well, overall what cost us were the last five overs with the ball. Even batting, with the dew the target was chaseable. We need to win smaller moments, we've been playing good cricket, some luck with us can change the tide

12.10am, April 1: This isn't an April Fool's joke. Chennai Super Kings have made it three wins from three matches, despite being 28 for 3 in their first innings. Dhoni's masterclass earlier, followed up by an excellent bowling performance from their pacers and Tahir have ensured that the defending champions move to the top of the points table. Captain Cool delivers again, and it seems like his attitude has rubbed onto his younger boys as well. Excellent 19th from Shardul, Deepak Chahar was excellent in the Powerplay too. We'll have the reactions and presentation very soon. Stick around.

Raunak: "Stokes and Jofra gave CSK quite a scare"

1
Dwayne Bravo to Archer, 1 run

length ball, on off, and flat-batted to cover. They scamper across for a single and Chennai Super Kings win by eight runs!

Sharma: "Why did Joffra take a single? Should have kept strike. That was not clever. "

Girish: "Both teams with 'Royal' in their name are yet to open their account in points table!"

Dwayne Bravo to Gopal, OUT

in the air and taken at third man! Tahir takes the catch, and he gives the crowd a flying kiss. The Chepauk erupts. Length ball, on off, and Gopal's attempted slog takes an outside edge

Shreyas Gopal c Imran Tahir b Bravo 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0

Is that the end of Royals' challenge?

19.4
1
Dwayne Bravo to Archer, 1 run

full and very wide outside off, and Jofra mistimes a drive to cover. Walks across for a single. His bat is broken too

CSK taking their time.

19.3
1lb
Dwayne Bravo to Gopal, 1 leg bye

back of a length on middle, and the ball hits Gopal's shoulders. Delivery rolls down to third man

Royals need 12 off four. Crowd shouting Bravo, Bravo

19.2
Dwayne Bravo to Gopal, no run

back of a length, on off, and Gopal backs away to cut this square. Ball goes over Gopal's bat. Nifty from Bravo

Our forecast has Royals' chances at 16% now. That was a big wicket. Shreyas Gopal's here. He can swing the bat too

Chet: "If only someone else would have bowled that last over instead of Jaydev Unadkat. If only"

19.1
W
Dwayne Bravo to Stokes, OUT

soft dismissal! Chinna Thala to the rescue. Low full toss on off, and Stokes tries to lift it over cover, but he's sliced this to Raina at cover

Ben Stokes c Raina b Bravo 46 (26b 1x4 3x6) SR: 176.92

Eleven needed for the Super Over. Twelve for Royals to win. Ten or less, and Chennai win. Royals have clawed back very well here. And looks like DJ Bravo will bowl the 20th over

Parikshith Hari: "What's cricinfo's prediction showing now? Please let us know sreshth" - 31% chance for Royals

Thakur to Stokes, SIX runs

one-handed shot for six! Holy moly. Length ball angling into Stokes from around the wicket, but he uses his wrists and swivels to pull behind square. One hand comes off his bat, but enough power behind that to go for a maximum. Unbelievable

Royals need 21 off nine balls

paddled! Back of a length on middle, but Stokes shuffles across the stumps, exposes all three stumps, and then gets enough bat to find the gap between keeper and short fine leg

Long off goes back. Deep point too.
