drives to long-off and they come back for the second, but Rajasthan have won the game!
RR vs Kings XI, 4th match at Jaipur, IPL, Apr 06 2012 - Match Result
Presentation
Adam Gilchrist: We were outplayed, I got the toss wrong, Rahane played a beautiful innings. 20-30 runs more than what I thought we should have conceded. There were some positives, not saying it as a cliche, but even Rahul agrees that we had some positives coming out for us.
Rahul Dravid: Fantastic night for us, good to start this way, especially for the youngsters to do well. Rahane has worked really hard after being out of the Indian team.
Both captains surprised with the pitch not changing for the better with the dew coming in.
Rahane is the obvious choice for the man of the match award.
Rahane: I was batting well even in practice games so wanted to continue. I believe in myself and if you are a good batsman, you will play well irrespective of the format. Ball was coming on well and I think it was a team effort.
A 31-run win is a big one in a T20 game and it puts Rajasthan over the others in the tournament who have won one game. Stay tuned for the presentation.
This is an excellent showing from the Rajasthan Royals side under their new captain Rahul Dravid. In fact, both the retired legends of Indian cricket, Ganguly and Dravid, have made winning starts to their IPL 2012 captaincy debuts today.

yorker length and the batsman digs it out to long-off.
For a moment it looked like he had mistimed that one but it comes off in the end and lands over long-on for a six. They need four of those every over from here on.
