Pakistan Under-19s capped a dominant performance in the Tri-Nation Under-19s Tournament with a 97-run win over England Under-19s in the final. The margin of victory reflected Pakistan's dominance in a tournament where they didn't lose a single game.

Sent in to bat, Pakistan lost captain Sami Aslam before he could add to his tournament-topping tally of 287 runs, before Hussain Talat and Imam-ul-Haq put on 51 for the second wicket. Kamran Ghulam - who had taken four wickets in the last match of the league phase - then showed his ability with the bat in a 76-run third-wicket partnership with Imam. Both of them were out for 51, as Pakistan lost a bit of steam through the middle overs, before Saifullah Khan and Zafar Gohar struck quickfire 30s to propel them to 247 for 7. For England, seamer Jack Winslade took three wickets.

England's chase never really got going. Opener Jonathan Tattersall made 32, but wickets kept falling at the other end. They were 95 for 8 in the 30th over before wicketkeeper Joe Clarke put on 55 with Luke Wood to take them to 150. Their last two wickets fell at that score, both to left-arm spinner Gohar, who finished as the tournament's highest wicket-taker with 15 scalps.
