Lahore humble the table-toppers with a thumping 88-run win. They were barely ruffled in this lop-sided affair at home. The batters did a phenomenal job setting 210, which gave the bowlers the license to go for the kill and they found heaps of success with that approach. It was a fantastic all-round performance that will do a world of good to their confidence. On a pitch that offered plenty of assistance to both quicks and spinners, Lahore put up an imposing total and seemed to have a well chalked out plan in place. Islamabad, in reply, were all over the place; no substantial contributions from batting backbone made life tough and nobody managed to convert their starts into something big and match-winning. Rauf picked up 4 and bowled with a lot of venom in his spells, Raza snapped up 3 with his smart spinning methods while Shaheen and Asif chipped in with one wicket apiece. Islamabad remain on top of the tree while Lahore are right next to them now with 8 points

16.5
W
Haris Rauf to Naseem Shah, OUT

Gets the last laugh; banged in short around the line off, lowers his center of gravity and goes for the upper-cut, finds the fielder in the deep who makes the catch look so easy. That rose above head height and he flirted with it.

Naseem Shah c Mohammad Naeem b Haris Rauf 11 (7b 2x4 0x6) SR: 157.14

Armaghan Bashir: "Two shah brothers playing right now, I hope they will remember their old street cricket days like we all do!"

16.4
4
Haris Rauf to Naseem Shah, FOUR runs

Good length, speared into the pads, hits it really well, slugged downtown and away from long-on, one bounce over the rope, beautifully hit through the line

16.3
Haris Rauf to Naseem Shah, no run

Drags his length further back, near the marker on off, square cuts it not to much avail

16.3
1w
Haris Rauf to Naseem Shah, 1 wide

Cranks up the pace but loses his bearings, a short ball down the leg-side, well-stopped by Billings with a tumbling effort to his left

16.2
Haris Rauf to Naseem Shah, no run

Bends his back and hurls a pacy short of a length delivery in the corridor, he lets it go

16.1
2
Haris Rauf to Naseem Shah, 2 runs

Over the wicket, fraction short and getting big on him, swings lustily down the ground and it falls between fielders converging at long-on and long-off, both didn't go for the catch (Shaheen and Raza) and avoided a collision

Tossed full and outside off, inside-edge dribble away to fine leg

W
Raza to Shadab, OUT

In the air and Rishad charges in from long-off to take a regulation catch. Dropped a touch short, rises to waist height, he plants his front leg and eyes the straighter boundary, the captain departs and the implosion continues. Shake of the head as he takes the long walk back to the pavilion, Islamabad haven't lived up to their reputation and the captain knows it.

Shadab Khan c sub (Rishad Hossain) b Sikandar Raza 13 (10b 2x4 0x6) SR: 130
15.4
Raza to Shadab, no run

Short and straightening just outside off, scuffs a drive back to Raza

15.3
1
Raza to Naseem Shah, 1 run

Back of a length outside off, nurdled to deep third

Jaff Jadoon: "3 Curran brothers today playing in 3 different countries, "

15.2
4
Raza to Naseem Shah, FOUR runs

Back of a length with plenty of width, gets a loosener and puts it away, steered down the floor past short third for a four, what a way to get off the mark

15.1
W
Raza to Dwarshuis, OUT

Around the wicket, dropped short on middle, hauls it off the backfoot but only as far as the fielder stationed at deep midwicket, another one bites the dust. Islamabad continue to lose wickets, this was dropped very short and the shot was on, just couldn't lift it much

Around the wicket, shortens his length, angled it in at middle, he clubs a pull off the inside-half of the bat to deep midwicket

14.5
W
Tom Curran to Imad Wasim, OUT

Banged in short and offers some width, he slaps it straight to the man at wide mid-off; finds the man to perfection and admonishes himself for hitting towards the only man patrolling that region; was troubled by the lack of pace as well. Wickets continue to tumble for Islamabad and the asking rate is also escalating; Islamabad in dire straits for the first time this season

Imad Wasim c Shaheen Shah Afridi b Curran 2 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR: 20
14.4
Tom Curran to Imad Wasim, no run

That's a well-directed bumper rearing up right at him, he goes for the pull and only connects with air; play and a miss

Hammered in and a bit leg-sidish, whipped away, helping it to deep backward square
