Barbados, led by a 92 from Jason Haynes, and aggressive half-centuries from four other batsmen, launched a violent assault on Leeward Islands, scoring in the range of six-and-a-half runs an over to end final day at 421 for 7. In the process, Barbados claimed six points as they had gained the first-innings lead.

Jason Hayens settled in to score 92 off 114 while the momentum was carried forward by Dwayne Smith, who scored a quick-fire 51 off 47, Kevin Stoute's 71, and unbeaten 56 from Alcino Holder.
Leewards, resuming on their first day's score of 166 for 2, lost their last eight wickets for the addition of only 125 runs with Pedro Collins, who dismissed Steve Liburd with his first delivery of the day, taking 5 for 49.
