For the second time in the match, Nauman Habib and Waqar Ahmed shared all ten wickets to fall as Peshawar stormed to an innings and 45-run victory against Quetta at the Arbab Niaz Stadium. Nauman carried on from his first-innings performance with a seven-wicket haul in the second, finishing with a match haul of 11 for 77.
There was no semblance of a fightback as Quetta lost two early wickets with the addition of just four runs to their overnight score of 114 for 3. The only resistance came from Jalat Khan, who smashed six fours and a six in his 48 off 31 balls. The innings lasted 56.4 overs, with Nauman and Waqar bowled 41.4 of those. Waqar wrapped up the match by bowling Nasim Khan to finish with 3 for 100, and ended with nine for the match.
With this win, Peshawar have jumped up four places to the fifth position in Group B.
