Club - Brothers, Rockhampton, having previously played with Parkana for two seasons and then four seasons with Norths. He was a member of the Queensland Primary Schools team to play in the national championships at Adelaide in 1988-89, and appeared for North Queensland Under 19 in 1994-95. In 1997-98 he was a member of the North Queensland team for the annual match against South Queensland but missed selection in the Queensland Country team. He was included in the Country Development team for the match against Queensland Under 19, played that season at Maryborough. In these matches he recorded scores of 140 and 101 and on the withdrawal of DF Spanner from the Country team was included as his replacement. He has represented North Queensland and Queensland Country in each season since, volunteering to open the innings in Canberra after injury to Brad Eathorne left Queensland Country short of an opener.
