India in South Africa ODI Series - 2nd ODI

South Africa v India

India won by 1 run

Hi there. Welcome to the second ODI between South Africa and India. This will be played at Jo'berg.

Pitch report: Shaun Pollock says there will be some swing on offer. Pollock: "There are cracks but it won't have any effect. There is a decent grass covering but its all dry. Not green. I don't see much activity for the bowlers. The teams batting second will find that the ball comes on better here and good to bat."

Toss: India won and have chosen to bat

Dhoni "We want to put some runs on the board. It looks like a good track. There might be some swing early but it will become good for batting after that. We really can't go behind the series by the margin of two games; so this is a crucial game. Normally we have seen that 270 is a good total on this track."

Smith: "The weather might come into play. Hopefully the bowlers can produce a effort like the last evening. Durban was terrific for us."

Both teams have retained the same playing elevens.

Garreth lets rip: "I dont understand this sticking with their lineups. Why bring in debutants in to the 15 so clsoe to the world cup and you dont use them! Surely SA should be looking at the bigger picture (world cup) and risking a home series defeat by playing these guys. How many more chances for Miller?"
