19.1 to GC Smith, there's another one! this session has changed, and Smith's big day doesn't result in a big score for him, that was pitched up and nipped away, Smith looks to play if off the front foot towards mid-on, an outside edge through to the keeper, Smith is gone for 24. 46/2
39.4 to JH Kallis, what a catch that is, and what an uncharacteristic way for Kallis to go, another short ball from Gul, Kallis goes for the pull, gets a bit of a top edge, immediately there is a shout of 'Catch,' Asad Shafiq had to move to his left at deep midwicket, he's at full stretch as he dives to pouch that massive wicket for Pakistan, that was a screamer from Shafiq. 125/3
1883321.83946000
18.3 to AN Petersen, there's the breakthrough, Junaid has been the best of the bowlers today, and gets his reward, short of length ball from round the stumps, that square up Petersen, who was looking to play it towards the leg side but it loops to third slip instead, plenty of bounce for Junaid, Petersen walks soon after Pakistan appeal, a wicket Pakistan desperately needed. 46/1
78.2 to F du Plessis, what a strange dismissal that is, du Plessis had an eternity to make sure that ball doesn't roll back on to the stumps, he wasn't aware though where the ball was and it spins back to hit the stumps, du Plessis first played what he thought was a solid forward defensive, and he didn't bother to see where the ball was, he was busy holding the pose, it came off the bottom of the bat and it bounced up and sneaked behind him, once again a bowling change from Misbah brings immediate results, yet another south Africa batsman gets in and doesn't make a big score. 232/6
1405604.00588011
2346802.951016100
401614.00141000
45.3 to HM Amla, oh my goodness, Younis has done it, Amla has thrown it away, innocuous bat well outside off, Amla goes after it hard, slashes it firmly but another superb catch, this time from Azhar Ali, who reacts real quick to clasp that one at gully, he didn't much time to snap that overhead chance, results in another huge wicket, not like Amla to give it away like that. 135/4
7.211642.18321000
70.1 to AB de Villiers, whoah, and what an impact he's made, a wicket first up, de Villiers tries to force a ball towards point but edges it through to the keeper, Misbah's bowling changes working like magic today, there definitely was an edge this time, perhaps de Villiers should have taken his chances on Hot spot and reviewed that decision. 199/5
81.6 to RJ Peterson, Hafeez has done it again, he has this knack of taking wickets when the left-handers are on strike, this one is on a length pitching just outside off, Peterson thinks this will spin away and decides to leave that one, bad move, that slides on and takes the top of off stump, and the decision to give Hafeez a few deliveries with the new ball also pays off, nothing Misbah can do wrong today (except DRS). 239/7
83.1 to D Elgar, Hafeez strikes once more, another left-hander, that was slipping down the leg side, tickled through by Elgar, nicely taken by sarfraz who has had a good day behind the stumps, two wickets to go, will Pakistan get to bat today?. 240/8
85.2 to M Morkel, Hafeez gets this fourth wicket, crazy figures of four for 13, again Hafeez gets the ball to skid on, Morkel looking for the turn and that slides between bat and pad, Morkel is bowled and South Africa are bowled out for 253, that's not a terrible score from South Africa, though they would have certainly wanted more when they decided to bat on winning the toss.. 253/10

22.1 to Asad Shafiq, And he has struck! Six down, this was a spontaneous appeal, Asad Shafiq is walking back after falling while chasing a wide delivery, pretty wide and Asad reached for that one trying to drive it through the off side, got a thin edge and AB took it easily, it swung away but Asad drove loosely at that one, big trouble now for Pakistan, no referrals this time. 39/6
22.3 to Umar Gul, threw it away there, what's happening here? Philander doles out another wide one, short and wide and moving away further, Gul chased it, reached for it and went for a needless cut, got a thick edge and Smith took it above his head at first slip, disastrous day so far for Pakistan, the last two wickets could so easily have been avoided. 39/7
8.16860.97461000
3.5 to Mohammad Hafeez, another jaffa from Steyn, gets the outside edge this time, just swerving away after pitching around off stump, Hafeez prods at that one limply, a thin edge through to the keeper,, Bowden's crooked finger goes up, and if Pakistan didn't realise they were in for a fight today, they do now. 9/1
5.1 to Nasir Jamshed, Steyn is on fire here, they bring the roof down with that lbw appeal, Bowden agrees, Jamshed reviews, that hit him just above the knee roll after pitching just short of a length and on middle stump, coming back in towards the batsman, he misses and that was going on to take leg stump, the decision stays, Pakistan two down. 12/2
5.6 to Younis Khan, oh dear, Pakistan are in massive trouble now, Steyn proving unstoppable once more, beautiful curve on the ball as it pitching around off and moves a mile after pitching, Younis opens the face as he pokes at it and that is edged through to first slip, a duck for Younis and Pakistan in disarray,. 12/3
25.2 to Saeed Ajmal, just takes two balls to strike, Steyn has his fourth, another outside edge, de Villiers flies to his right to collect that, that one swings away from Steyn, pitching on a length just outside off, too good for Ajmal, who nibbles it through. 40/8
27.1 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, Pakistan are 41 for 9! five for Steyn, another catch for de Villiers taking it low in front and to his right, Sarfraz is gone poking at one outside off, immaculate line and length from Steyn yet again. 41/9
29.1 to Rahat Ali, it's over, Steyn is unstoppable, this was coming, they have missed the outside edge several times against the tailenders, this time he gets it and the ball flies through to fourth slip, where Faf du Plessis parries an overhead chance, and takes it on the second chance, Pakistan have been bundled out for 49, their lowest score in Test history, Steyn finishes with ridiculous figures of 6 for 8, Smith and Petersen running up to the dressing room which means South Africa may not enforce the follow on. 49/10
631101.83322010
621121.83312000
19.5 to Azhar Ali, a brute of a delivery there from Kallis, just as it seemed that Azhar Ali and Misbah had done enough to weather the early storm, Kallis digs one in and that goes for Azhar's throat, batsman has no option but to fend at it, sends it through to the keeper and South Africa get their fourth, and Kallis showing again why he's pretty handy as a fourth seamer. 36/4
21.1 to Misbah-ul-Haq, a belated appeal for a caught-behind, de Villiers hardly went up, Kallis was keen , turned down by the umpire, South Africa refer it, it was a short of length ball curling away, Misbah pokes at it, Hot Spot proving tricky again, there was a tiny spot on the bat but it vanished after a moment, I don't rate this Hot Spot at all, and to overturn the decision based on that is pretty harsh for Pakistan, Whatmore doesn't like that decision, Pakistan 36 for 5, and that follow-on target of 54 will be on their mind again, de Villiers definitely didn't think there was an edge, he just tossed the ball to first slip after collecting it, no appeal from him at all initially. 37/5

21.2 to AN Petersen, a little bit of relief for Pakistan, Petersen gives it away as he looks to pull a ball that wasn't too short, top edges it and the ball is in the air for a long time, Hafeez takes a smart catch at cover. 82/1
23.2 to GC Smith, Gul gets his second, another cross-seam back of a length delivery outside off, angling across Smith, who nicks it through to the keeper, HotSpot working properly now after not being at it best yesterday, a white smudge indicating the edge, Smith salutes the crowd as he walks off for 52. 87/2

26.5 to JH Kallis, Ajmal gets his first wicket of the match, and it is the big one of Kallis, a length ball on the pads, he was looking to power that towards square leg, as in the first innings he top-edges and is caught at deep midwicket. 99/3

21.5 to Nasir Jamshed, soft dismissal. Jamshed has fought hard so far, but he has ended it tamely. Short, just outside off, but he has short-arm-pulled it straight to short midwicket. Steyn is charged up. And Peterson is finally on the scorecard. 64/2
82.4 to Asad Shafiq, this was coming, Steyn has been superb with the new ball, this was just outside off, Shafiq looked to push off the back foot, that hits low on the bat, Shafiq was a bit slow to bring the bat down, takes the edge through to second slip where Kallis makes a difficult catch seem oh-so-simple, this was inches off the ground, Kallis pouches that easily, and the big stand is broken. 209/5
84.4 to Misbah-ul-Haq, Steyn is unstoppable, and unplayable, he's out to finish off this match in a hurry, no shame in getting out to that sort of delivery, it was just back of a length and moved away a hint after pitching around off, Misbah had to play at it, he looks to defend, a thin outside edge to AB de Villiers. 210/6
98.1 to Umar Gul, is that caught-behind? review after it is turned down, that was back of a length and outside off, Gul swipes and there was a sound as it passed the bat, HotSpot acting up as usual, but the decision is overturned and Junaid is gone, another ten-for for Dale Steyn, and that's catch No. 11 for AB de Villiers, that equals the world record. 261/9
100.4 to Junaid Khan, given lbw, review time, short of length ball on middle and that strikes him low on the front pad, batsman was deep in the crease, that was going on take out middle and leg, it's all over at Jo'burg, Steyn gets another five-for, undoubtedly the world's greatest bowler. 268/10
2236022.721079001
3.6 to Mohammad Hafeez, and Philander has got one already. Not what South Africa would have planned but they will take this. Length ball, nips back in from off, Hafeez looks to nudge it around the corner, but manages an edge down leg, and is gone. 7/1
87.1 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, there's No. 7, Philander gets his first of the day, Sarfraz wasn't sure whether to leave that or play, it was back of a length and just outside off, at the last moment he decides to lift his bat, but he is too late, canons off the bat and on to the stumps, Sarfraz joins the procession, can't see this Test lasting more than a few overs now. 218/7
2578923.5611716003
29.5 to Younis Khan, and he has edged one while trying to leave it alone. That's an embarrassing dismissal. They are checking for a no-ball, which has put a halt to the celebrations, but the replays show he has about an inch behind the line. This is another wide length ball, Younis looks to defend it, but realises it late that he can leave it alone. It's too late, though, and the ball takes the edge. Indecision for Younis, first wicket of the match for Morne. 82/4
91.6 to Saeed Ajmal, short ball angling in, Ajmal fends at it and that is off the gloves and loops through to give AB his 10th catch, to go with a century as well. 240/8
1553512.33776010
24.4 to Azhar Ali, given. This might be reviewed. Yes it is being reviewed. Azhar Ali has been pegged back with some fiery short-pitched balling, and Kallis slips in a length ball this time, and he is caught on the crease. On a length, outside off, seams back in, beats the bat, hits him on the knee roll in front of middle and off. At first viewing, I thought there might have been an inside edge. Replays show nothing, and he has to walk off. 70/3
