Profile

Eastern Province and Transvaal allrounder Clive Ulyate gained fame as a rugby Springbok, playing in seven Tests in 1955 and 1956. An attacking flyhalf, he played four Tests against Robin Thompson's British Isles team in 1955 and then toured Australia and New Zealand the following year. (Peter Martin)
