A brilliant and honest summary of England's predicament.

Ahhhh, the good old days!

Pretty tiresome hyperbole here - if this is a failed Ashes tour, it will be much like the majority of such tours in the last 60 years, not just the 1990s. 'Greatest achievement', 'Best team of all time' - more hyperbole from the same author.

Before Brisbane, the pundits reckoned that, yes it will be tougher but England should win without too much drama, now after the first match at the Gabba, it's "if England can win this series it will rank up there amongst their greatest achievements". What a difference a Test makes.

Sounds like a fair summary from George Dobell. But I would welcome a criticism of the management which also seems to resemble something from the 90s.
