He lost it in the sun, despite some big Fly-type sunnies allegedly assisting him, as Styris shot that high and higher, straight up and Bagai had to run forward and, at the last minute, dive forward to - like removing a nice apple soufflé from the oven - cling on with the big gloves. 253/3 | ||||||||||

Fleming tried to use his feet to get to the pitch and flicked the ball low towards short midwicket, nicely bowled by Sandher and well taken, low down, by Billcliff. 142/1 35.2 to PG Fulton, Nelson strikes! Well, not specifically Nelson itself, but you know what we mean. That one angles across the righthander and would have gone on to hit leg-and-middle. 222/2 | ||||||||||

McMillan opened his front leg to give himself room and launched it high towards deep midwicket, but he was hitting against the breeze and the ball held up in the air...Samad ran in from the fence and held a superbly judged catch, making sure the ball didn't come out as he slid on the turf. 266/4 42.6 to L Vincent, what a strange dismissal, a loopy offspinner from Davison dips as it arrives at Vincent who tries to work through midwicket - having started to think about the sweep - and got a leading edge which gently lobbed back to Davison. 278/5 | ||||||||||

That was a fine edge cut through to McCullum, who clung on this time after dropping a difficult chance of him earlier, and that's the second wicket. 110/2 34.6 to A Bagai, nicely bowled, again very wide on the crease, varying his pace and spearing in towards the pads...Bagai comes down the track and virtually yorks himself, the ball takes back leg stump. 188/3 38.6 to AA Mulla, gone this time, planting his front foot down the pitch he's struck in line with middle and off, Billy Doctrove raises the finger as that ball does all the right things. 206/5 | ||||||||||
