32.2 Tendulkar takes out the well-set Tharanga. Full in length, lands on the middle stump line and shapes down. Tharanga is walking all over the crease and tries to dab it to the on side, fails and is hit in front of leg and middle. Would have hit leg. Tendulkar is getting some movement there. In the previous over, it was in the air and now, it is off the track. 133/4

6.6 Huge wicket. A nervous-looking Jayasuriya falls. Just how he went in the 1996 semi-final. Caught at wide third man. Prasad was the fielder then, Agarkar is the man now. Full and outside off and the Matara blaster couldn't resist a flash. He freed his arms, got a top-edge that went swirling to Agarkar at squarish third man, who held it. One down and what a big wicket. 33/1

12.4 What an acrobatic effort from Dhoni. Is it his best ever? Fullish, down the legside - didn't deserve a wicket, try telling that to Agarkar, and Mahela flicked it. But it doesn't go off the meat of the bat as the bat-handle rotates and the bat-face shuts and it flies to left of Dhoni who goes airbourne, parallel to the ground and takes it with both hands. Stunning effort and Sri Lanka are under pressure. Two down now. 53/2

23.3 Ganguly gets the breakthrough! Inspired captaincy to bring Ganguly into the attack? Sangakkara goes after one that is pitched just short of a driving length and tries to whack it over long-on. The timing is good but perhaps too good, the ball floats across and seems to hang in the air for a fair bit before Munaf Patel runs a few yards to his right and takes a good catch 92/3

46.1 now Silva falls. Just like Dilshan did, he also walks without waiting for the umpire's call. Zaheer gets him with a slower one. An off cutter. Full and outside off and Silva is through with his off drive a touch too early. Gets a nick which is swallowed by Dhoni. Two new batsmen at the crease. 216/6

10.5 Oh! Got 'em. Having been bogged down for a few deliveries, Ganguly tries to break the shackles. He coems down the track and tries to launch it over mid-off. The ball is a canny Vass off-cutter and leaves the batsman. Ganguly can only manage a thick edge and the ball balloons wide of mid-on, where Muralitharan rushes back and stretches full to pull off a beauty. He dropped Uthappa earlier (that was a tough chance) but there was no way he was going to let this go. His team-mates mob him in celebration 43/2

22.5 Big wicket. Murali takes out Sehwag and India slip further as Sri Lanka tighten the screws. It was floated outside the off stump, Sehwag leans forward, and opens the bat-face as he tries to drive - he had been beaten earlier in this over, trying to play a similar shot, this time connects and sends it straight to Mahela who swoops low at slip to take the sharp catch. Sri Lanka are climbing all over India. Bangladeshi fans must be whooping in delight. 98/4

37.3 Gone! Dravid falls and that could be the end of the Indian hopes. He charges down the track and lofts a fullish delivery straight to Murali at long-off. Murali moves to his left and takes it. Pumps his fist in the air and all the Sri Lankan fielders rush towards him. 159/8

27.4 Jayasuriya to Dravid, Tragedy for Yuvraj. Joy for Sri Lanka. Drifting in on the middle and leg stump line, nudged to wards short fine leg. Yuvraj rushes across like a express train - it was his call as it went behind the stumps but there was no run in it , Dravid sends him back and Yuvraj can't make it. The throw went slightly wide of the stumps - like how Steve Waugh's throw came to Boon who ran out the last man in the 1992 World Cup, and here, Jayasuriya moves to his right, gathers and whips the bails off. Yuvraj was no where in sight. It was his call, all right, but I don't think Dravid would have made it to the other side. The short-fine leg fielder was pretty close and it was Arnold there and he swooped there like a hawk 112/5

28.1 Dhoni walks for a lbw. It was that plumb. Fab delivery. Landed on the middle stump line and hurried on straight - a stunning toppie, Dhoni had backed to cut and he had no place to hide. Tried to get his bat down in a hurry but the ball rushes on and rams the pad. Dead duck. What a bowler! 112/6
