Hamish Anthony was an allrounder who bowled lively medium pace, and two solid seasons for the Leewards led to his inclusion on the 1991 tour of England - he had already played the first of his two summers with Glamorgan - and while he never threatened to break into the Test side, he nevertheless impressed. He continued to bowl well for the Leewards, playing league cricket in England as well, and in 1995 made three moderate one-day appearances for West Indies at Sharjah.
