Profile

A left-handed opener, Richards has struggled to hold down a place in the Leeward Islands team, playing just 10 matches in four seasons. His only score of note was an impressive 183 against the Windward Islands in 2007. Strangely, he was selected for West Indies' one-day squad in their tour of England in June, at the expense of more experienced players - a selection solely based on promise.
