  • Overs 51-100

Taylor to Jaques, OUT, oh and Jaques has gone! Looking to repeat the previous shot, a pull, but he didn't get hold of it and the ball comes off the top of his bat and goes high and towards fine leg. Heart in mouth stuff from Ramdin there as he chases a good 20 metres and then reaches out in front of him to pouch it, a loud call as Edwards was coming round from long leg

PA Jaques c †Ramdin b Taylor 31 (45m 35b 4x4 1x6) SR: 88.57

Australia 46/1   SM Katich 13* (27b 1x4)   JE Taylor 1.2-0-12-1

Taylor to Ponting, OUT, big shout and he's gone! Ponting has been trapped in front, Taylor hitting the pitch just in line with off, it nipped back and would have crashed into leg stump and the batsman is on his way

RT Ponting lbw b Taylor 18 (31m 21b 0x4 2x6) SR: 85.71

Australia 75/2   SM Katich 23* (41b 2x4)   JE Taylor 4.1-1-16-2

Bravo to Hussey, OUT, banged down leg and Hussey goes for the hook but Powell takes a fine catch in the deep at backward square leg. Hussey thought he had controlled it yet Powell reaches out and manages to stop, gymnast-like, just when the momentum looked like carrying him over

MEK Hussey c Powell b Bravo 12 (22m 25b 0x4 1x6) SR: 48.00

Australia 96/3   SM Katich 27* (54b 3x4)   DJ Bravo 1.3-0-6-1

Bravo to Clarke, OUT, second wicket of the over! Clarke goes to a really good delivery which had him reaching away from his body as it pitched outside off and moved wider and a thick enough snick deviates on to the keeper

MJ Clarke c †Ramdin b Bravo 0 (3m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Australia 96/4   SM Katich 27* (54b 3x4)   DJ Bravo 2-1-6-2

Edwards to Katich, OUT, and it works a charm, does the change! Edwards steams in and hustles Katich with a bouncer which rears onto him, getting him late onto the pull shot, the top-edge spirals into the air over Ramdin, three men give chase but Gayle from first slip calls for it and does excellently to take it down near the ropes, he seems to have hurt himself in the process but that's a neat catch to give Windies a fifth wicket

SM Katich c Gayle b Edwards 36 (129m 72b 5x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Australia 111/5   A Symonds 5* (20b)   FH Edwards 4.1-0-19-1

Benn to Haddin, OUT, there's the breakthrough shortly before tea, Haddin chooses the wrong time to play a horizontal shot to one fired in on middle and leg, he misses, ball hits the pads, the question is asked and the umpire reckons it would have taken out middle stump

BJ Haddin lbw b Benn 32 (91m 66b 6x4 0x6) SR: 48.48

Australia 198/6   A Symonds 46* (74b 5x4 1x6)   SJ Benn 5.4-0-32-1

Bravo to Symonds, OUT, gone this time! Symonds looks to attack with a flourishing drive which goes uppishly out to the covers where Chattergoon takes a handy catch

A Symonds c Chattergoon b Bravo 52 (141m 84b 5x4 1x6) SR: 61.90

Australia 213/7   B Casson 2* (14b)   DJ Bravo 10.3-3-41-3

Edwards to Casson, OUT, that's what Edwards was looking for, a good inswinger right on line, Casson can't get bat on this one and it hits him on the front pad in line, Aleem Dar raises the finger and Casson is gone

B Casson lbw b Edwards 10 (78m 44b 1x4 0x6) SR: 22.72

Australia 244/8   B Lee 18* (37b 2x4 1x6)   FH Edwards 14.1-2-50-2

Taylor to Johnson, OUT, great ball, an awkward one for a lower-order player like Johnson. Taylor squeezed him up with a shortish ball aimed at the ribs, Johnson tried to work it to square leg but a leading edge flew to Benn in the gully.

MG Johnson c Benn b Taylor 0 (8m 8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Australia 245/9   B Lee 19* (40b 2x4 1x6)   JE Taylor 11-2-45-3

Edwards to Clark, OUT, great ball! Inswinger takes Clark's off stump out of the ground and that's Australia's innings over

SR Clark b Edwards 1 (9m 7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 14.28

Australia 251/10   B Lee 23* (46b 3x4 1x6)   FH Edwards 16.1-4-55-3
