The Lancashire Evening Telegraph
Chorley begin their Northern League campaign under new skipper Nigel Heaton and with Australian medium fast bowler Josh Marquet returning to Windsor Park for a second spell as professional.
An already formidable batting lineup will also be strengthened by the return of opener Neil Bannister after a two year professional engagement in the Vimto Bolton Association.
Tomorrow they open their league programme at Lancaster.
Darwen are also at home to Kendal, with Kiwi all-rounder pro Richard Petrie making his bow (start 1.45).
John Cordingly and Michael Horsfield are also set to make their first team debuts. Kendal have retained the services of South African Ross Veenstra as professional.
