Martin Guptill, double trouble

Martin Guptill registered the second double-century in World Cup history and the second-highest score in ODI history

Martin Guptill became the first New Zealand batsman to back-to-back World Cup centuries. But that was not enough. He went to 150, he went past his personal best of 189 and he registered the second double-century in World Cup history and the second-highest score in ODI history. Dropped on 4, he updated his score with 233 runs and remained unbeaten as the Regional Stadium, also called the Cake Tin, rumbled in glee.(US only)
