Henriques lifts Hyderabad into second qualifier

A supreme all-round performance from Moises Henriques set up Hyderabad's 22-run win over Kolkata in the eliminator Delhi

A fine all-round performance from Moises Henriques set up Hyderabad's 22-run win over Kolkata in the eliminator in Delhi. Henriques scored 31 off 21 and produced returns of 2 for 17 to help Hyderabad set up a clash against Gujarat in the second qualifier on Friday.
Hyderabad lost opener Shikhar Dhawan in the second over, after which Henriques gave his side a solid base by sharing a 59-run second-wicket stand with David Warner. Both batsmen were dismissed off consecutive balls by Kuldeep Yadav in the tenth over, but Yuvraj Singh carried Hyderabad's momentum with a 30-ball 44 to help them post 162.
In the chase, Henriques snuffed out Yusuf Pathan for 2 in the 11th over and also dismissed Suryakumar Yadav in the 16th. Henriques' economy rate of 5.66 kept Kolkata tied down. He also held on to a catch at short extra cover in the second over, to get rid of Robin Uthappa.
"I still feel like I left a lot of runs out there," Henriques said after picking up the Man-of-the-Match award. "All the bowlers bowled well, and we fielded really well. It [The ball] was staying low, so facing Morne and Holder was easier, turning their ridiculous bounce to normal bounce. We have guys who take the pace off, we have ones who can put the pace on, good death bowlers too. The game owes you nothing, every opportunity you have to grab it."
