England's summer is looking up after both the men's and women's teams have taken the lead in series against Sri Lanka and India respectively. In the West Indies, the hosts will be hoping to do the same after losing the Test series to South Africa, while Australia wait their turn in the wings. Elsewhere, the T20 World Cup finally has dates and a confirmed home, and it's not India, and New Zealand is still coming off the high of their World Test Championship win. A day before the first ODI, three Sri Lankan players, Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Mendis and Dansushka Gunathilaka, had been suspended and sent back home after they breached the bio-bubble in a late-night excursion in Durham.
