The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) today confirmed that West End Redbacks new recruit Andy Flower will this weekend debut for the Sturt District Cricket Club

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) today confirmed that West End Redbacks new recruit Andy Flower will this weekend debut for the Sturt District Cricket Club.
Flower, who arrived into Adelaide today with his family, will Saturday (October 11) debut in round two of the A Grade competition when Sturt take on Port at the Port Adelaide Reserve.
Sunday will see Flower join Sturt in their West End Cup one-day round one game against the Adelaide Buffalos at Glandore Oval.
Sturt today confirmed that Flower will be stand-in wicket-keeper for Saturday's game, in the absence of their regular wicket-keeper Todd Ferguson, who has a prior commitment.
It is anticipated Flower will bat in the number three position for the Club.
Play starts at 10.30am on both days.
Flower has been contracted to play for the West End Redbacks for the next three seasons and will debut for the State side when they take on the Western Warriors in Perth in their first Pura Cup game of the season from October 19 to 22.
