India's batting Powerplay. India were 296 for 1 when they called in the restrictions, looking good for at least 450 then, but in the next five overs they lost five wickets for 33 runs, and ended up with just 414.
Sri Lanka's batting Powerplay. They were 291 for 1 in 35 overs when they called the field up, and lost three wickets for 52 runs, letting India back in. The three wickets were Kumar Sangakkara, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Sanath Jayasuriya.
Thilina Kandamby's run-out. After India got four wickets for 29 runs, Angelo mathews and Thilina Kandamby steadied Sri Lanka through sensible batting. India bowled well in the final overs, but the two seemed equal to the task. But then, with 14 required off the last 11 deliveries, Kandamby ran himself out lazily, and the game turned decisively.
