Rain ruined the seventh round of matches, with only Kongonis managing to play, lifting themselves one place up the table with a 49-run victory over Nairobi Buffaloes. Rakep Patel smashed a 54-ball 86 to help Kongonis on their way to a commanding 166 for 5 off 20 overs. The Buffaloes were never up with the pace, and only Collins Obuya's 48-ball 57 spared them from a rout. Abdul Rehman was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 19 off his 4 overs and was ably assisted by Man of the Match Patel who grabbed 2 for 26.

Rwenzori Warriors missed out on an almost certain four points when their match against Coast Pekee in Mombasa was rained off, but they remain well clear at the top of the table as the clash between their closest challengers Rift Valley Rhinos and Nile Knights was also washed out.

Kongonis completed a soggy double over Nairobi Buffaloes on Sunday, their three-wicket win keeping them top of the table. Overnight rain meant the game was restricted to another 20-over affair, and the Buffaloes lost direction after a breezy start and eventually finished on 112 for 6. Rakep Patel, was again the form batsman, making 61 from 41 deliveries, but his dismissal sparked a collapse as four wickets fell on the same score to leave Kongonis on 91 for 7. Rajesh Bhudiya settled the issue by smacking 20 off eight balls.

In Kampala, Nile Knights had a comfortable their 50-run victory over Rift Valley Rhinos. Batting first, the Knights stumbled to 49 for 4 before Benjamin Musoke (62) and Davis Karashani (38) swung the match with a 100-run fifth-wicket stand and they finished on 202 for 9. The Knights opened with spinners and the move paid off as the Rhinos slid to 45 for 4 when rain halted play. A revised target and some poor fielding still left the Rhinos far too much to do.

Coast Pekee continued to search for their first win in either competition as they went down to a six-wicket defeat to Rwenzori Warriors in Mombasa. Pekee limped to 90 all out in 38.1 overs and the Warriors wasted no time, taking only 12.5 overs to complete the win.
