Match Centre

There is one more match in the series on Monday, between Northern Knights and North West at Eglinton. Justin Smyth will be back with commentary on that one. Do join him then. For now, though, from a wet Balrothery, it's good afternoon

Rain has returned at Balrothery so the 2.00 inspection turned out to be a formality. The ground is too wet and the game has been abandoned. The teams take 2 points each but that is enough for Lightning to retain this year's Inter-provincial Cup.

Conditions are improving and there will be another inspection at 2pm.

Result of inspection is that lunch will be at 12.45 and another inspection afterwards. But umpires report it is very wet, especially the run-ups.

There has been a lot of overnight rain here at Balrothery so the umpires will have an inspection at 10.30am
