Afridi looks on wistfully. It is a case of what might have been for Pakistan. They really lost the plot after the Hafeez-Younis stand set them up for a 260-plus score. It's been South Africa all the way, from the moment Hafeez cut Botha uppishly to Langeveldt. Tsotsobe, AB de Villiers and Kallis then sealed it in ruthless fashion.

"The old man just got some cramps out there," says AB de Villiers about Kallis. I don't think Kallis will take too kindly to being referred to as old man! It takes great stamina and reserves to be able to bat through a period of cramps and Kallis actually managed that today. That pull shot actually triggered a second bout, which was too much to handle.

The commentary feedback, at the moment, is a heady mix of dispirited Pakistan fanspeak, and dispirited Kallis fanspeak (vis a vis the Sobers v Kallis argument). Both parties, keep the faith, I say!

Presentation time. Ramiz Raja does the honours.

Tsotsobe is Man of the Match: "I must say I have been working very hard to get where I am now. I will look to step it up right now." [The height difference between Tsotsobe and Ramiz is disconcerting!] "I try to keep hitting the good lengths and make the batsmen hit the wrong shots. Happy with the slower deliveries too."

Afridi: "Very happy to see Younis back in the team, Hafeez also performed well, but after that we did not do well. Hopefully we will bounce back in the coming games. I am frustrated, yup, about the batting. Tough times, but we will try to do extra practice.. Bowling and fielding are perfect, we need to bat with better plans and last 50 overs."

Botha (instead of Smith, away injured): "Still awaiting Xray results for Smith. Kallis is a quality player and carried on even when he was tired. We were happy restricting them to 203, Lonwabo did a good job. Two down, two retired, but we managed to get there. You got to use your variations on a good wicket like this, and the guys did that really well."

That winds up our coverage for the game. Osman Samiuddin's updated bulletin will be here soon. Before going away, its a good time to join the fun we have in store in twitter. Follow our feed at @ESPNcricinfo - 140 characters off all the #cricket you need!

On behalf of our team, this is Nitin Sundar signing off. Cheers!

Umar Gul to Ingram, FOUR runs

and he's finally perfected the shot. Ingram gets the upper cut away nicely and comfortably over the infield for four. SA have compketed their 10th successive ODI win.

39.2
Umar Gul to Ingram, no run

looks for another delicate glide and fails to make contact outside off

39.1
Umar Gul to Ingram, no run

122 kph slower ball, cutting across from off stump as Ingram looks to dap it square for one on the off side., Straight to point

pushes him back with another short ball, this time Ingram handles it well by getting back in the crease and riding the bounce., Dropped to the off side for one

38.5
Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, no run

140.8 kph and on the pads, Ingram adjusts as it lands back of a length and works it to midwicket

38.4
Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, no run

143.9 kph this time as Shoaib steams in outside off. Ingram gets bat on it finally, but can't get it past point

38.3
Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, no run

141.7 kph and Ingram again has a flirt at it after getting half forward as it buzzes past outside off.

38.3
1w
Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, 1 wide

very fast, very short and very wide down the leg. And I feel very sorry for Haider who leaps across like a goallie, to his right, to haul that missile in,

38.2
Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, no run

fastish lifter at 140 kph and Ingram looks to play the Gilchrist upper cut/glide. Does not make contact though and it thuds into Haider's gloves

38.1

Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, 4 leg byes

slower ball, drifts down he pads and Ingram sends it along the way for four runs, very fine. Called leg-byes. Three to win.

Matthew: "No all rounder can make in into the all-time XI unless either their batting or bowling is at least close to the standard of the specialists. Sobers clearly meets this standard as a batsman. Imran Khan (and Hadlee, and young Botham) at least come close as bowlers. It is possible to imagine 2 all-rounders (e.g. Sobers and Imran Khan) in the all-time XI together.

"In the hypothetical Sobers vs Kallis matchup, Sobers probably benefits from the fact that he was brilliant from the start of his career, whereas after 50 tests Kallis only averaged 41 with the bat. First impressions had been formed before Kallis's brilliance really developed.

"Another statistic: Sobers reached the milestone of 5000 runs and 100 wickets in his 56th test. Kallis needed 73 tests to reach this milestone."

37.6
Umar Gul to Duminy, no run

another off cutter, slightly quicker, and closer to JP's body, who is again beaten by the deviation as it grips and deviates away from off stump.

37.5
Umar Gul to Duminy, no run

slow off cutter and Duminy does not spot it and has an airy waft. The ball bounces twice before carrying to Haider.

37.4
1
Umar Gul to Ingram, 1 run

Ingraqkm shuffles across and works Gul from middle and leg for one towards square leg

37.3
4
Umar Gul to Ingram, FOUR runs

that sums it up. Ingram crunches out a nice little cover drive and Asad Shafiq, running across a mile from deep point does well to reach there and get his left hand to the ball as he dives. He deflects it on to his body, which deflects the ball back towards the boundary

37.2
Umar Gul to Ingram, no run

better from Ingram who gets under the bouncer and lets it go. No periscope dangling either

Shoaib Akhtar to Ingram, no run

another bouncer handled badly. Hmm, fended away as if he were dealing with a fly rather a five ounce red cherry hurtling across at 145 kph. Manages to keep it away though, to square leg

36.5
1
Shoaib Akhtar to Duminy, 1 run

runs another single off the face towards third man, does Ingram

36.4
Shoaib Akhtar to Duminy, no run

closer to him this time and JP is more comfortable in defence, going back and keeping it out with full face

36.3
Shoaib Akhtar to Duminy, no run

good, nasty bouncer from Shoaib, 142 kph and JP tooks his eyes off and took it on the gloves. Not the best technique in dealing with that
