Bangladesh have done it comfortably. They were chasing a fairly low target, despite the resistance offered by Brendan Taylor and Ray Price, and were guided superbly by Mushfiqur who played a calm innings but deprived himself of a deserving century. However, if one were to pick the player of the day, it would have to be Dolar Mahmud, who rocked Zimbabwe with four wickets to help restrict them to an easily chaseable score. Bangladesh have won three ODI series in a row and have signed off from this series with authority. Shakib's captaincy has been hugely impressive and more importantly, he's led by example, both here and in the tour of West Indies. One shouldn't be too surprised if Bangladesh persist with him as their captain once Mortaza returns. We'll get you the presentation details in a bit.
Utseya: "Yes, we are disappointed but Bangladesh proved they were the better team. The younger players have done well. We thank the crowd for supporting us and we hope to put in a better performance next time. With the franchise system coming in, it can only get better."
Shakib: "The boys have been showing their character, have been performing well throughout this series and have played very good cricket. The players have stepped up and Mushfiqur played well today. The top order has clicked. I'm focusing on my game, and the boys have supported me well."
Dolar Mahmud is the Man of the Match.
Dolar: "It's good to perform well in international cricket and I played well this time. The wicket was providing assistance and I made use of it."
Tamim is the Man of the series with 300-odd runs, including that match-winning 150-odd in the fourth ODI.
Tamim: "This is my first such award and hopefully there'll be more to come. The 154 was my best innings and hopefully there'll be many more. The top order played very well this series, and Junaid supported me really well. The boys have performed superbly and we're very happy."
That's all from us, folks. Thanks for tuning in and sending us your feedback. It's been a pleasure bringing you this series and we hope you've enjoyed it. Until the next time, on behalf of everyone at Cricinfo, this is Sid Talya signing off. Adios!
