  • Grant Flower who dismissed Brian Lara, completed his 50 wickets in ODIs.He became fifth Zimbabwean to do so after Heath Streak (111 wickets in 93 matches), Paul Strang (83 in 81), Guy Whittall (75 in 97) and Eddo Brandes (70 in 59).

  • Neil Johnson won his sixth Man of the Match award. With this he equalled Paul Strang's tally of awards. Now only Andy Flower (7) has won more awards than him for Zimbabwe.
